This week has been bittersweet and stressful to say the least. I found myself reflecting on everything I have seen and learned this semester. This course has been a journey, and I’ve enjoyed every minute of it!
Last week I posted my progress post for my final project. I was able to stick through the most of it! Unfortunately, I did have to scrap the intro video idea. Animation takes time. A lot of time. However, I am happy with how it turned out (aside from my wobbly arm wave in the intro). I recorded all my videos, put them in movie maker, and finished my animations using FlipAClip. The animations took the longest, more than I anticipated. This is what led to me scrapping the intro video to make up for lost time (the intro video animation would’ve been 1000+ frames). For my first video, I ended up using powerpoint rather than animation because it suited the comparisons I was making better than attempting to draw George Washington and the founding fathers.
Anyways, after a long, arduous week, here are my final two videos! I hope you enjoy them. 🙂 The intro video will be coming out sometime next week. I will link it here, but it is not a part of my project. (I did make a quick theme using instruments on BandLab though. 🙂 )
Have a great Summer 🙂
